About Teresa Thomas
It all started with a fire and an encounter with Red Cross volunteers. Just after starting college, Teresa's family home
burned to the ground in the middle of the night. The family lost everything. In the wee hours of that morning, the Red Cross provided the family with survival kits. Neighbors, some they had never even met, brought clothes and other necessities. Teresa realized over time that, in fact, they had not lost "everything." What her family retained was what really mattered: the connections between people and the kindness we share with one another. It turned out to be the best lesson of her life and informs her teaching to this day.
Teresa believes networking is really about seeing the interconnectedness between all of us. It is about listening and noticing the ways we can lift each other up. Teresa's passion for connecting people and possibilities is palpable and she brings her unique view of networking to each and every presentation and workshop.
