Sheryl Sever (aka Coach Shera), president of Cross Currents Communications, began her entrepreneurial career in sales at the ripe age of 13. As a result of her sales success, she financed her travel throughout Europe with a youth symphonic orchestra at age 14. At age 16, she was the regional manager of a hip-clothing store in the Midwest.
Today, she is an accomplished management consultant , a fun, dynamic facilitator and business coach with nearly 20 years experience and expertise in talent and career management, leadership coaching and training, marketing communications and business development. She is recognized for her enthusiasm, creativity, compelling facilitation, and collaborative approach to developing innovative strategies and entrepreneurial solutions that inspire the human spirit to take action. She creates, promotes, designs, and delivers an impressive array of Leadership, Communications, Professional and Personal Development seminars and consultations across a wide variety of industries.

Sheryl refers to herself as a self-made woman (wtih a little help from the universe). She is passionate about collaboration and helping others manifest BIG VISIONS. For many years, she has been studying and synthesizing a varietyof approaches to facilitate organizational development, leadership, and personal growth. Her career transition program won a national award for Most Innovative Curriculum from the US Department of Vocational Education. Additionally, she had led communication courses to professionals from over 40 countries and has successfully coached hundreds of individuals and leaders through change and transition.
She has completed graduate studies in adult learning, instructional design and e-learning at theUniversity of California in Berkeley, and has been training with Marshall Rosenberg’s revolutionary system of Compassionate Communication since early 2007
With a well-established and diverse network of visionaries, leaders, and educators, Sheryl founded Cross Currents Communications in 1996, a consultancy service specializing in talent management, career planning, and business development for small to mid-size businesses, start-ups, and non-profit organizations.
