For years, I've been guided to follow my passions. I became an elementary teacher, my 'dream' job at 17 years of age! I've loved my careers in teaching, which have span over 4 decades now! In 1969 I became a private piano instructor and continue this work even today. Emerson was one of my guides since the 1980's. From his essay on Spiritual Laws, I quote: "Each man has his own vocation. The talent is the call." In today's world, I think it will be necessary for all of us to continue looking at our talents, skills and expertise to create and re-create our self in the workplace. In the 80's and 90's I took my skills as a teacher and began workshops for parents and teachers and entrepreneurs. I became an EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Practitioner so I could support individuals going through change...releasing the past and easily moving into the 'new'! In 2006 I was introduced to the world of Radio. I hosted and produced several programs at KGGV, namely: The Famliy Hour, The Kids Hour and hosted the Morning Show segveral days a week. Today, I have the Voice of Change on BlogTalkRadio.com/Sharon-Anne, bringing to the airways, individuals inspiring new-ways during this changing times. Recently, I re-invented myself once again. BusinessTeacherTrainings.com
reveals my work today, supporting individuals who desire to have a business, working with children. I've created a list of 108+ ways of teaching children, to give people an idea of the numerous possibilities I see as possible areas of business.

“Each man has his own vocation. The talent is the call. There is one direction in which all space is open to him. He is like a ship in a river; he runs against obstruction on every side but one; on that side all obstruction is taken away and he sweeps serenely over God’s depths into an infinite sea. He inclines to do something which is easy to him and good when it is done, but which no other man can do. He has no rival. For the more truly he consults his own powers, the more difference will his work exhibit from the work of any other…Every man has this call of the power to do somewhat unique, and no man has the other call”. from Ralph Waldo Emerson's essay on Spiritual Laws
One man can completely change the characater of a country and the industry of it's people, by dropping a single seed in fertile soil. John C. Gifford
Be thankful not only that you are an individual but also that others are different. The world needs all kinds, but it also needs to respect and use that individuality. Donal A. Laird
Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun. Mary Lou Cook
CHANGING CAREERS
Should I 're-invent' myself? Today, life is in a state of change, as you all know. If you or someone you know is having a challenging time finding work, perhaps it's the time for a re-invention! What do you have to offer in regards to CHANGING CAREERS? My particular niche in the area of CHANGING CAREERS, is working with individuals who would like to create full-time or part-time work, by creating a business of teaching children, between the ages of 4 - 14. What if I know I WANT to work with children, but do not know in what way? Well, in this case, I have three different possible solutions for you? 1. Write me and ask for a copy of my Special Report - 108+ ways of working with children. 2. Sign up for my next series of complimentary tele-seminars about the business of teaching. 3. Sign up for a 3 month class on "My Teaching Gifts", to explore your passions, purpose and teaching possibilities. What if I know I WANT to work with children, know what I want to teach, but do not have experience in creating a business? You would be a good candidate for my teacher trainings and one-on-one coaching program. I've done this work for over 30 years and have learned what to do and what not to do! My three plus decades of learning have been streamlined into a series of tele-seminars, private coaching and an on-going training, so you can continue to learn and grow, while beginning your business. How can I let go of the frustration, anger and anxiety I'm feeling during these times of change? Some welcome change and others attempt to avoid change. When change happens from the outside of us, many times, it's hard to accept. When you are able to choose change, sometimes, it seems easier to accept. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) the work of Gary Craig is an excellent way to release the past and move into the future with less anxiety and stress. What is EFT? EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a process of tapping various points (meridian points) on the body and making some statements about the problem you want to address. Gary Craig, father of this work, has found this process to be very successful in releasing both physical and emotional challenges. EFT, is similar to acupressure and acupuncture, but one you can easily learn and perform on yourself. (Although, sometimes, having a practitioner support you and intuit various paths to pursue, can be very helpful.)
