Serene Bailey, MA is a licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed professional counselor, and distance credentialed counselor with over 15 years experience in the field of counseling.  Serene specializes in relationships and women's issues with a focus on helping couples achieve a healthy, fulfilling relationship and empowering women to reach their potential on their own and within the context of a relationship.  Serene is the owner of a private counseling practice.

Serene earned a B.A. degree in Psychology from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1994 and a M.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1996.  She went on to complete post-graduate work specializing in Marriage & Family Therapy at Old Dominion University.  Serene has worked in acute care hospitals, residential treatment centers, and private practice.  She has co-authored a chapter in a book and several articles and has presented at workshops and local and national conferences.  Serene has successfully started a thriving private practice twice and currently owns a private practice in Pennsylvania.
