In 2003, I graduated with a Career Diploma in Short Story Writing + Freelance Journalism, awarded by Penn Foster Career School, a distance learning institution with headquarters based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
I have also received the following Certifications:
I'm an advocate of freelancing, either as an excellent way to make extra income, or a full-time career. In November 2012, I started a blog, where I publish free information to make it easy for anyone who's interested to gain access to facts about freelancing, the credentials and training needed, plus, lots of tips on cultivating a positive attitude towards work.

**Within the human spirit lies vast wellsprings of strength that, if properly harnessed, can elevate men and women to their fullest potential.
**Learn the value of being comfortable in your own skin. The leopard envies not the zebra's stripes.
**To hold on to your convictions when everything else seems hopeless takes courage.
As a young professional woman, a freelance writer, and an entrepreneur, I have accumulated a diverse range of life experiences by actively learning through adult and continuing education, reading books on personality development, and surrounding myself with positive people who share my values.
Early on, I have figured out what I wanted most out of life and developed a distinct self-identity. I'm passionate about setting and achieving goals. I'm a self-starter -- it doesn't take too much to motivate and push me towards the right direction. I map out plans and keep to-do lists, write down a list of affirmations, and implement the steps until I reach my desired result.
Also, I had always been upfront about my faith, and being a devout Christian has given me a balanced perspective about life's most pressing issues. And as a Filipina, I'm fully aware of the numerous advantages of being tuned in and oriented towards American values (among them equality, freedom of expression, and getting a good education) without disregarding my Asian upbringing.
I have achieved a lot of things on my own, such as fulfilling my childhood dream of being both a writer and an artist, earning a profit from my home-based enterprise, gradually moving towards financial independence, and mentoring children.
I do my best to live a life of excellence, and I wake up every morning with a purpose in my mind and heart.
