When you need a speaker in marketing and strategic business information,
demand someone who has done it in real-life.
Rodger B. Price is not your ordinary marketing speaker. He is definitely not some cog in the wheel, big corporate guy who has never really done true marketing. He is the one business-marketing expert who did it not only to survive in a highly competitive market, but also thrive. If you want instant impact on your audiences, Rodger is the person to do it.
For more than twenty-years Rodger has been the quintessential entrepreneur. Make that forty years if you count his three years as a paperboy when he was nine. The manager of a pizza restaurant at age twenty-one, by the age of twenty-four Rodger was the top salesman for a medical label manufacturing company. At twenty-six he was laid off because the company he worked for was losing money. The funny thing was, he was paid by commission only and was producing profits for the business.
In the middle of a recession, Rodger promptly began his own company specializing in the healthcare field. As a distributor and manufacturers representative of medical labeling products and other products for hospitals, he quickly built the business into a profitable organization. He helped one neonatal anesthesia medical product company grow so well, it hired him as their National Sales Consultant to develop, train, and manage all their distributors across the United States and Canada.
Gradually moving away from carrying several types of products, Rodger refocused his energies on the business forms and printing part of the company. Things went very well for many years. Then something happened that changed everything – another recession hit. Rodger was making a decent living but suddenly his company’s sales and profits took a nosedive of 20%. He was in danger of losing his business that he had worked so hard to start and grow. Rodger knew that marketing was a good way to get more customers but really didn't know much more. With time of the essence, he went to every marketing seminar, read every marketing book, spoke to many successful business owners. He became a marketing expert without even knowing it. With this cumulative knowledge he put together his first marketing plan. He tested various ideas and methods. What happened was astounding! His sales went up 20%. That was 20% from his previous best year, not his lower sales from the current downturn. The best part was that his profits soared so much that he bought out one of his top competitors and helped put another out of business. He knew he was on to something dramatic so he continued to learn and test his theories. Sales and profits kept going up. Rodger loves marketing and loves to tell other entrepreneurs and business owners about marketing. In December of 1999, Rodger sold his business to devote his energy to working with other business owners and entrepreneurs. His passion is marketing and teaching others that they can market to success.
Rodger’s twenty years plus of real-life experience proves that he knows how to successfully market a business in today’s highly competitive world and even make money in a recession.
How many other marketing speakers can say that?
