Robin Jay is the producer of the first FUNNY personal development movie, "The KEEPER of the KEYS", starring Jack Canfield, John Gray, and Marci Shimoff, along with 15 experts from around the world.
Robin is an award-winning author, filmmaker, motivational speaker, mentor, and publisher. She became frustrated with the current selection of self-help movies that are available today. She wrote and produced "The Keeper of the Keys" because, as she puts it, "if you truly want to empower people, you have to engage them first!"
Robin is also the president of the Las Vegas Convention Speakers Bureau. As such, she published "The Power of the Platform," a series of bestselling speaker anthologies.
Robin began her career in the personal development industry by writing the award-winning "The Art of the Business Lunch: Building Relationships Between 12 and 2" (Career Press). From there, she built a successful speaking career. But her passion lies in finding new ways to empower people and help them live better lives by having greater responsibility for where they are in life. She felt that by producing a funny, engaging movie, more people will be able to elevate themselves. Her movie has proven to be so engaging and entertaining that Spiritual Cinema Circle chose it to be their April, 2012 release. Self-help doesn't have to be painful, hence the movie's tag line: "taking the 'Hell' out of self-help!"

Ever since the success of "The Secret" and "What the Bleep?" most personal development movies have followed the pattern of offering an endless stream of expert testimonials. I wanted to make "The KEEPER of the KEYS" critically different; I wanted to raise the bar on the entire genre of self-help films. That is why our tag line is "Taking the 'Hell' out of self-help!" Someone needed to! After all, you can't EMPOWER viewers unless you first ENGAGE them. That was my intention, and, based on current audience reactions? Mission Accomplished!
Fans of the self-help movement will delight in this movie. It's motivational, inspirational, and - most of all - really fun! And even viewers who are NOT fans of self-help will find themselves loving this film. The storyline is relevant and fresh. It's fast, it will move you, and you will come away empowered!
The challenge was to write a storyline that would be funny and entertaining, yet would not diminish the experience and wisdom of the experts. The cast of experts came together and brought deeply personal stories - NOT the typical sound bites you hear every day. This movie is nothing short of extraordinary!
Jack Canfield is incredible. He brings light to everything he does - and this movie is no exception. His natural delivery makes you feel as if your best friend is talking to you. And John Gray hits it "outta the park" with his take on relationships. It's easy to see why he is the ultimate expert when it comes to male/female relationships (or should I say Mars/Venus relationships?!) And Marci Shimoff's gift for showing how to create a love response is going to transform the viewers.
Our fictional character, "Michael," will probably remind viewers of many people - their friends, family, and coworkers - those who feel victimized by society, the economy, the government, and their own situation. In "The KEEPER of the KEYS", Michael encounters the experts and even argues with them! Viewers will relate to his antics and come away armed with techniques and messages that will transform and improve their lives.
