Rebecca Zuckerman is a committed life long learner. She received her B.S. in Chemistry and B.S. in Biology from Metro State College in Denver, Colorado. After working as a synthetic chemist in industry for 10 years, Rebecca rejoined the academic track. She attended U.C. Berkeley and received her Ph.D. in physical organic/organometallic chemistry. Rebecca did her graduate research studying the mechanisms of several different catalytic systems. She re-entered into biotech working as a medicinal chemist for eight years. Rebecca completed the certification program in Clinical Trial Management at San Francisco State University Extended Learning in October 2007 and completed the Project Management Certification Program in Spring 2009.
Rebecca has always loved learning and has keen interest in how it is that we learn best. She has mastered learning techniques. Rebecca says, “We are all meant to be life long learners. Research shows that keeping your mind active and agile will extend the lifetime of a healthy brain”. In an effort to share this information with others, Rebecca now offers seminars and workshops on an overview of the brain and techniques to utilize our brains more effectively. In order to stay competitive in the Age of Information, it is imperative that we learn new ways to process and retain knowledge more efficiently.
Rebecca presents the latest information from brain research and shares experiential methods for individuals to become better acquainted with their own brains. “Every brain is unique and miraculous and we are all great learners. We learn more if we are fully engaged and enjoying ourselves; this is a brain friendly way”.
