Individuals as well as businesses all suffer from the same common illness, Lack of information. This lack of information, however, isn't their faults. It's simply information that although has been talked about in the major media, the severity of consequences and sufferage from this lack has not been stressed enough.
When an individual or business suffers from Identity Theft, they are not only at risk themselves, but those closest to them are affected as well. This issue is why I sought out the Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist (CITRMS) designation.
I have seen the immense amount of damage that can come as a result of not knowing that you've become a victim. Couple that with the lack of resources to properly address the situation while still being able to function and do lifes daily requirements as normal, and what you have is a disasterous situation.
Vowing to let the entire North America know the problems that this issue causes, this is just a step in the staircase of what needs to be done to adequately protect the livelihood of North Americans and Canadians the like. However with such an enormous task ahead of me, I understand that I can not do this alone. Which is why I turn to building an Online Presence in the hopes of Building the necessary relationships that will flourish into the organization needed to further this cause, this mission of Equal Justice for All.
