Meredith Sobel is a certified integrative health and wellness coach. She attended Barnard College, the Harvard School of Public Health where she earned a Master of Science in Health Decision Science and received her nutrition training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She is currently enrolled in the nutrition education program at Columbia University's Teachers College. Armed with a combination of traditional western as well as accepted alternative approaches, she works with clients in a private practice on Manhattan's Upper West Side and over the telephone. She also speaks to organizations and corporations and gives workshops throughout Manhattan as well as cooking demonstrations and leads health retreats. Meredith has lost over 40 pounds and kept it off for a period of three years. She has struggled with weight loss and improper eating her whole life. She is a recovering sugar and caffiene addict. Meredith competes in triathlons in her spare time as well as road races in New York City and on Long Island. She does a mean Madonna impersonation at karaoke as well.
