After High School and a couple of years in college, majoring in Speech and Drama, my education has been through certifications, seminars, books, mentoring and church affiliations. I consider myself a perpetual student.
My past identity was in trying to please other people and meet their expectations. What a miserable existance. I found myself lonely and defeated in my efforts. I've had head knowledge that my true identity in Christ, but only recently have I gained the heart knowledge and reconciliation to enjoy living in God's grace.
I'm a wife, mother and grandmother. My family is extremely important to me. The time I spend with them collectively and separately is wonderful and fulfilling. I also enjoy my church family and community.
Glorifying God is my purpose in life. The beauty in my purpose is God does all the work. When I find myself struggling to do what I think I should do is when I now realize that I am out of alignment with His plan for my life.
Providing tools and coaching for other people to live in the Sabbath Rest my mission. There is no reason for a person to live defeated due to past situations in their life. We have the power and responsibility to rise out of the ashes.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow may never come, so let's open the present and celebrate.
Do something nice for yourself today.
What is the best and highest use of my time today?
Who can I reach out and touch?
Priorities: God, family, work.
A smile or kind word can change the direction of someone's life.
Asking questions and showing interest in other people's lives provides many friends.
