As an Early Childhood Specialist and Educational Consultant I owned and operated my own in-home Licensed Childcare in Minnesota for 25 years. With a degree in Child Psychology I also worked as a trainer for other Daycare Providers seeking continuing education hours.
In addition I spent a year as an Assessor for NAEYC, observing the programs of Childcare Providers seeking NAEYC certification and another year as Program Adviser with Adults and Children’s Alliance where I visited Providers in their home, educating and evaluating for the Food Program sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
I share this with you so that you know that as well as raising my three sons as a single Mom, I’ve been in the trenches. I know the ups as well as the downs that come along with spending days with children professionally and as a parent. Combining years of 'child wisdom' with spiritual understandings I invite parents, and all with a child in their life, to meet their child in the vortex of well-being.
I hold you in the highest esteem. I admire how you spend your days touching the lives of young people. Let me know how I can best support you and know I’ll be happy to do what I can.
Meanwhile, treat each other with respect, nurture one another and let’s all play well together!
The most important thing that you can teach your children is that Well-being abounds. And that Well-being is naturally flowing to them. And that if they will relax and reach for thoughts that feel good, and do their best to appreciate, then they will be less likely to keep the Well-being away, and more likely to allow it to flow into their experience. Teach them the art of allowing.
