Marlene found her love of writing
at an early age. Encouraged by her
father Leo, Marlene learned the finer arts of communication and public
speaking. Leo opened doors of learning
opportunities, gently framed with humor and hinged by hunger for wisdom, which
propel her forward to this day. Most
importantly, Leo led her to fearlessness by empowering her to confidently share
her talents with the world.
Marlene founded several
non-profit corporations and one Charitable Foundation.
She is a member of American Mensa, Ltd.
She holds degrees in Communications and Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is a lifelong student of classical voice,
piano and the performing arts, as well.
In her spare time, Marlene enjoys
dancing, music, photography, solving puzzles, traveling, and her Dobermans,
Winston and Xena. A child of the
sunshine, Marlene finds contentment in her own back yard in Phoenix, Arizona.
