Chief Instructor Mark Gajdostik
Mark Gajdostik began his formal martial arts training in 1983 and has trained in Okinawan Gohakukai Karate, Shin Shin To-itsu Aikido, Chang-hun Taekwondo, WTF Taekwondo and Danzan-ryu Ju-Jitsu and Hapkido.
Mr. Gajdostik began teaching under his first karate instructor Sensei Yoshitaka Kinjo, and started his first school in Junior High; an after-school karate club.
A Black belt since 1989, Mr. Gajdostik co-founded Oregon Fighting Arts-Taekwondo in 1991 with a long-time friend and training partner. Prior to his entry into the field of law enforcement in 1996, he created TNT - Police Combatives.
During his decade in law enforcement, Mr. Gajdostik was the combatives instructor for many area departments as well as his own agencies. He was certified as a police trainer for defensive tactics, police baton, use of force, and an array of less lethal weapons.
Mr. Gajdostik founded and developed TNT-Martial Arts in 2002 combining his police combatives/use of force knowledge with his years of mixed martial arts training. In 2003 he began teaching martial arts as part of the North Plains Parks & Recreation program.
November 11, 2006 - TNT Martial Arts opened in Hillsboro with a dedicated core group of charter members.
