Lynnis Woods-Mullins is the Founder and CEO of PraiseWorks,Inc a Health and Wellness organization that focuses on addressing the needs of the mind, body and spirit through holistic practices and fitness. PraiseWorks organization provides education, consultation, workshops, fitness programs using a holistic and spiritual philosophy as its foundation.
Prior to founding PraiseWorks,Inc., for the last twenty-five years Lynnis worked as Human Resource Professional and Manager for several Fortune 500 companies. She attended Spelman College, University of California Davis as well as Golden Gate University and has her BA and MBA. Lynnis just recently became a certified Health, Wellness and Lifestyle Coach. Lynnis's first love and passion has always been dance. She has over 40 years experience in performing and teaching modern, jazz, ballet, and praise dance. Lynnis still dances professionally and founded PraiseWorks***Selah Dance Company.
Lynnis has recently written, directed and produced three “PraiseWorks’ Praise Dance Fitness - Low-Impact” a DVD’s created for women 35 and over who are just starting to add exercise to their regime. Lynnis is also the host of an Internet Radio Show on Voice America on their Health and Wellness Channel and is working on a book which will be released later this year. She is also a regular contributor to Demand Studios an Internet Writers organization and writes a blog “PraiseWorks Health and Wellness Blog”
Over the last year through Lynnis's leadership PraiseWorks Health and Fitness has received awards and recognition for their contribution to the Health and Wellness Community. PraiseWorks has been featured in various newspapers, television shows and radio shows. She most recently received the “Exceptional Woman of Excellence for 2009” and will be featured in Sacramento Magazine June 2010. She currently is the Executive Director of Sacramento Business Women’s Network, on the advisory board of “Celebration Arts” and partners with the American Heart Association, California Health Initiative, American Juvenile Diabetes Association, California Health Education Council, Susan B Komen Foundation as well as other local and community organizations.
Lynnis resides in Northern California with her husband, and has four grown daughters and one grandson.
