Being alive is a gift from the Creator, but to enjoy that life and to help others, we need to take care of this body. It is more than just 'not being sick,' but being able to function, think, and create at our optimum. Good nutrition leads to good health, which ultimately leads to a good connection between your body and spirit. To me, that is 100% homeostasis. That is our goal.
It takes years of mis-nutrition to get our bodies into the condition where we can physically be aware of the consequences. Patience is a virtue when starting a journey to regained health; it can take weeks and months to start seeing the benefits - there is a lot to repair by that point! So being committed is a huge part of your success factor. If you would spend money and time fixing a car, for example, you can do it for your body, too! After all, we don't want to trade it in or take it to the salvage yard!
Weight loss is not something I advertise or focus on; it is, indeed, a part of my Wellness Plans, as eating healthy and appropriately for your conditions and health situation will lead to weight loss. So far, all of my clients can attest to that.
One of my favorite quotes has always been "You can only be what you think you are," (Pete Sinfield/Greg Lake) but throughout life I have found that you can think you are much more, and actually achieve it!
I like to work best through creating a "Wellness Plan" for you. This begins with an extensive intake and evaluation questionnaire which I will then evaluate and we will use as our baseline. The Wellness Plan includes intake, creation of the Wellness Plan and 2 follow-up appointments. Further follow-up and maintenance appointments are welcomed and encouraged. We can work over email, Skype, or a combination of both. Local appointments are available, please inquire.
I also offer other services such as simple consultations, and even an -e-mail question a month" option.
When sending your intake papers, I like to have a photo of you. This helps me evaluate while working on your plan whether that "severe acne" is only one pimple, or a really severe issue. Plus, I get to connect with you at any time. Even if we meet via Skype, this helps me.
Lastly, I am always available to consider writing articles, or answering questions directed at groups. Particularly regarding Adrenal Insufficiency and deficiencies (in regards to holistic nutrition).
