Kathy Moore, MBA, B.C.H., has been involved in the human potential, personal fulfillment and intuitive development
movements for over two decades. She combines experience in journalism, sales management, marketing research, and hypnosis with motivational speaking to give clients practical and inspiring insights. The skills she imparts to her clients last a lifetime.
Kathy has conducted lectures and seminars for groups as diverse as Air Force pilots to college students, and bankers to grocers.
Her clients and associates have described her speaking style as: “energetic, versatile, over-the-top creative, and most of all FUN!! Recently she conducted a motivational group hypnosis session for the national meeting of Credit Professionals International and did “Success without Stress” programs for the Association of Independent Bankers and Keep Texas Beautiful. Having earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration, she graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina in 1983 and is a Board Certified Hypnotist, in practice since 1999.
In 1979, Kathy earned a B.S. in Sociology, with highest honors, from Tarleton State University, in Stephenville, TX. While at Tarleton, she held Dick Smith Academic Scholarships, a journalism scholarship/ internship from the Stephenville Empire- Tribune, and athletic scholarships for the
varsity volleyball team which she captained. Kathy also served as editor of her college newspaper.
Moore understands the psychology of achievement. She's lived it. Kathy knows what it takes to "turn your dreams into reality," but says, "until I began to study self-hypnosis, I did everything the hard way." She feels her biggest accomplishment is helping her clients to discover that by "learning to tap into the amazing abilities of their own subconscious minds, their potential for success in any form becomes truly limitless."
Kathy believes her most powerful tool is her training in hypnosis. She uses hypnosis, along with NLP and other brain power techniques, story telling, goal setting, kinesthetics, free association, anchoring and more to help her clients let go of the blocks that are keeping them from achieving their goals.
She has developed an entire hypnosis series that helps clients work through anxiety issues quickly and effortlessly.
Students and workshop participants describe her teaching style as “enthusiastic and loaded with practical advice that you can start using today!” Many of her private clients have told her they have made more progress in just a few sessions with her than they have made in years of therapy with well-known practitioners. (See testimonials on website for details.)
Kathy also believes that two heads are better than one and many heads are even better when helping her clients to heal, so she works very closely with a wide range of healing practitioners, (including the acupuncturists, nutritionists, massage therapists and others she shares office space with at San Antonio’s Wellness Center) in programs such as: “Living Lightly!” the award-winning weight loss program she developed and team teaches through community education systems in San Antonio and in her own training facilities.
For a long time, I had an ad from Delta's Sky Magazine hanging from my refrigerator door. It depicted a man in hiking gear, standing on the edge of a jutting cliff, with a brilliant blue valley far below. The caption read, "The greatest achievement in life is the ability to appreciate it."
To this day, repeating that phrase fills me with awe and wonder. My life has been dedicated to achieving, and helping others to achieve, that purpose. In my opinion, this is the true secret to a joyful life. Learning to "go with the flow" of life, to "let go and Let God", however you want to say it...
People who are "stressed out" don't necessarily have more going on than other people, they simply choose to focus on the "too much to do" of life...or the "bad things."
What works for me and gives me peace, is seeing it all (whether "good" or "bad") as learning experiences, things that help me grow. And self-hypnosis is one of the best ways I've found to learn to let go and go with the flow.
I was also "preaching" the tenets found in "The Secret" years before Oprah popularized it. Your thoughts really DO create your reality.
