Jennifer Stewart received her degree from Sydney University (Australia's first university) and Sydney Teachers' College and taught High School English and History for over twenty years. Throughout her career, Jennifer taught senior students and successfully prepared them for university entrance. As Department head, she was responsible for devising and implementing teaching programs and supervising staff and students in her department. Since leaving teaching, she has written and marketed a series of writing courses and has also been a freelance writer, undertaking a variety of assignments for clients from around the globe -- writing articles for e-zines and the print media; preparing award submissions for business clients; copy-writing and proof-reading works of non-fiction; editing web pages and e-books; writing press releases and much more. Her website, http://www.write101.com has been part of the Web writing community since 1998 and continues to offer detailed insights into the workings of the English language presented with just a touch of humour.
