Here is some additional info about myself: I am a mature, well educated, female therapist with a broad spectrum of healing modalities. I have a master's degree in Art therapy from Nazareth College, Rochester New York and worked many years in the mental health field before I decided to make body work and alternative healing my full time focus.

I received my massage therapy training at Body Mind College in San Diego. I am also a Reiki Master. Reiki was the first alternative healing modality I acquired training in. I studied Reiki at the Loving Touch Reiki Center in Rochester New York, and have practiced Reiki for over 11 years now.

I am a Certified Tantric Practitioner. I received my tantric training through "Tantra at Tahoe", as well as attending local workshops, classes, tantra meetings and events with Kamala Devi (a Life Coach, Author, and Tantric Goddess).

Awaken the Kundalini with Tantric Massage

One of the primary purposes of Tantra (and Tantric Massage) is to awaken the Kundalini. The Kundalini is a very powerful, intense and healing form of energy that (for most people) is lying dormant at the base of the spine (the sacrum). To fully awaken this powerful energy can take years of devoted practice in the various disciplines of the Tantric Arts. Once awakened, the Kundalini will rise from its resting-place under the sacrum and move up the spine, energizing and healing, eventually re-circulating throughout the entire body. The reason that the Tantric Arts are gaining such popularity in our culture recently is due to one of the more pleasurable side affects.
