As the companies President/Owner, three years later he purchased a competitors business. He has continued to grow his company the past 22 years by purchasing an additional three competitors in Florida, by building relationships with key accounts, and by providing nationwide service. Gary leads others in the same way he lives and manages his own life, with desire and passion. His success has been self made, and his mission is to influence others in a positive way.

"People forget what you say, and forget what you do,
but forever remember how you make them feel!"
Plain old common sense has
a lot to do with good communicating
when used in conjunction with other
talents and skills. Problem is, at times
common sense is not always
all that common. Think
before you speak!

Five Key Steps to Change
Should We Change; This step evaluates where you are as you go through the gates of what change could do for you. It examines the current effects of the way procedures are carried out. A determination must be made if this is the correct time and place to look at change for this specific problem or area. Here you will become aware of and evaluate what sacrifices must be made to fulfill change.
The Need to Change; Here the reasons are listed as to why change is required. This is critical as new ideas will begin to come to the surface as you anticipate how to make things better; how to bring added worth. This step will become the foundation of building the plan for executing change.
Benefits of Change; At this phase you will begin to see the added value a change will bring. Here momentum begins to build as the pictures are painted, and visions are seen of where you could be if you were to change. Here you should evaluate the organizations strengths and weaknesses. Begin getting others involved to get additional ideas on what the change will provide.
Act on Changing; Communication and the implementation of team building are put into action with a plan to make the change a reality. Here the leader is required to prove himself as he must lead the team through the most difficult portion of change, making it happen while keeping others satisfied. Be prepared, be persistent, and have a passion in what you are promoting. Motivate others to act; action promotes change.
Accepting the Change; This step relates to getting everyone on board to not only accept the change, but to believe in the change. Often this step takes the longest as some are slow to change, and only admit it was best after time has proved its worthiness. Keep the momentum; continue to monitor, do not allow your progress to slip.
