Fiona Ostermayer has been a practicing vegan for almost 10 years. She has been writing about her experiences with vegan and raw food lifestyles for the past two years and is the founder of the Busy-Vegan web site.
Fiona holds a Masters degree in education from Harvard University where she began honing her particular skills in research and teaching - skills that she now applies almost exclusively to the topic of vegan nutrition. On the Busy-Vegan site, Fiona has compiled research from over 150 recipe books and texts on vegan living, raw food and the associated lifestyle benefits.
Fiona works with people of all ages and is passionate about promoting and teaching healthy lifestyles, including vegan nutrition, raw food nutrition and the importance of eating locally and organically. She recently authored an e-book entitled "The Guide to Greens" which provides a nutritional analysis in graphic format of the most commonly eaten leafy greens.
She considers it her personal mission to provide and promote accurate and well-documented information about the social, biological and environmental aspects of veganism.
