How do you energize yourself? How do you find your energy and zest for life? How do you get the results that you want?
I want to share with you the five steps in getting the results that you want.
1. Become Self-Aware.
Self-awareness is the first step. Why? Well most of us go through our lives being on automatic. We just keep doing the same things over and over again; expecting different results...it's called the definition of insanity.
Self-awareness is about stopping to think what you think about. To identify your thinking patterns. To find out whom you really are. To find out what patterns of behavior and thinking give you the results that you are currently getting.
In short. It will give you a clear picture of what you need to change.
Answer these self-awareness questions to identify the patterns in your life.
2. Determine Your Values
Your values are your deepest beliefs and thoughts. It is what NATURALLY motivates you. If you do something that is in line with your values, it feels like you are going with the current. It is much easier to achieve things.
If you do things that are NOT in line with your values...your inner most passions, it becomes a constant battle. In addition, it eats away your energy.
Here is an exercise to determine your values.
3. Set Inspiring Goals
Goals are powerful. Especially if they are in line with your values. It helps you to determine exactly what it is you really want.
If you have goals, you have a clear direction of what to do. If you are stuck, you can ask the question, "What behaviors will bring me closer to my goals?"
It has the ability to energize you during every step you take, because you have direction and purpose.
If you set inspiring goals that are in line with your values, you became NATURALLY motivated. Life feels like a downhill ride instead of a constant, uphill battle.

It will give you a clear picture of what to do next. It will stop you from being on automatic and just drift along. It ensures that every step energize you even further.
Here's how to determine strategies for your goals.
5. Keep the Focus
Yes, along the way you will have obstacles. However, if your goals are in line with your values and it is inspiring, you will have the energy to work through them.
If your goals, however, are not in line with your values, you will battle to overcome these obstacles, because the inner drive would be missing.
The big thing is not to resist these obstacles internally. Accept that they are part of the adventure. Once you stop resisting the obstacles, you will be in a much better space to deal with them.
