Who Am I? First and foremost I’m a father of 2 wonderful children, and a husband to my amazing wife! There really isn’t much in this world that motivates me more to continually improve and learn how to make a bigger contribution than these 3 special people. For about the past 10 years or more, I’ve been driven to learn how to break free from the Rat Race and get out of the old industrial age 40 year plan model, of work to home, home to work, in perpetuity. I grew up in a working class family with a carpenter father, and a home-maker mother. We were a lower middle class family, and I was raised that hard work was the answer to getting ahead. Unfortunately, after watching my father work harder than anyone I know, and attempting to follow in his footsteps for 15 years in my career, the results just weren’t reflecting success. I was working longer and harder than my colleagues, and not making substantially more. If I was getting ahead, it was because after work, I was staying home and saving my money rather than partying and spending. Thankfully my parents encouraged my brother and I to buy real estate rather than rent, and as a result we went in together on a property right after I finished college. A few years after that, I was tired of being the “responsible one” and wanted my own place, so I bought a piece of land and built my own home. With help from friends and family, I was able to borrow the money, and get the house built without needing to hire many contractors. In a few years I had met my wife and realized that our one bedroom home wasn’t going to be suitable for starting a family, so we started looking for land to build a new home on. At about the same time, we started learning about how to invest in real estate instead of just owning our own homes. This was a major turning point for us, and with the help of a mentor bought our first investment property soon after. Looking back, it was having the mentor that made all the difference. Prior to that, I had taken courses and read books, but was never able to effectively apply what I was learning. Mentors soon became the missing key for me. I realized that all the knowledge and information in the world wouldn’t do me any good if I wasn’t applying it. And generally, the reason I wasn’t doing that was because I had questions and nobody to ask. Once I had mentors who could give me the feedback I needed things began to happen. In the years since, I’ve had real estate mentors, stock and options mentors, business mentors, and others in many areas of my life. I still regularly seek out mentors, and I’ve become a student of success and wealth principles which is why I created this business. I want to help other people find access to this information and the people that can help them Reach Their Ultimate Potential. We all are so much more capable than we give ourselves credit for, and I believe that we all know it too. We just get hung up in our limiting beliefs because we don’t have the right people in our lives to encourage us to reach higher. If the adage is true that “you will be the same in 5 years as you are today except for 2 things. The books you read, and the people you associate with.” don’t you want to surround yourself with positive information, and the kind of people who see your potential even when you don’t?
