is the quintessential teacher's teacher. He walks the talk, speaks
to the heart as well as the mind, and brings a teaching energy
that fosters awareness and connection to the divine. His presence
and teachings are truly gifts for anyone luck enough to learn
from him." - Austin Vickers, author of Stepping
Up to a Life of Vision, Passion, & Authentic Power
Revital Carroll has
been a devoted student of Indian spiritual arts for over 20 years. In
1991, she left her native Israel to begin formal Yoga studies in India
with masters of the Himalayan region. In 1996, she fell in love with
Odissi Dance in South India while studying under the guidance of some
of India's most esteemed Odissi Dance gurus: Guru Gangadhar Pradhan,
Bichitrananda Swain, Aruna Mohanty and others.
Revital draws her
inspiration from the elements of nature, the wisdom of her own body,
and the rich spiritual heritage of ancient India. In 2006 she was
selected to present a solo performance in the International Odissi
Dance Festival in Orissa, India. She is currently co-owner, with her
husband Cain Carroll, of Yoga Shala (Prescott, AZ). Revital's teachings
are guided by a sweet devotion to Life, and a nurturing of inner
awakening in each student. Her classes weave together intensity and
surrender, deep stillness and joyful play.
