Beth Hansen-Buth is a Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher, Pranic Healing Practitioner, and an Artist/Designer of Reiki and Holistic clothing and gifts. Reiki is a Japanese tradition of spiritual growth techniques that includes the practice of healing touch. As the author of one of the top Reiki Blogs on the internet, Reiki Artist Blog - Adventures of a Practitioner, Beth has chronicled her journey from a beginning student of Reiki in the Spring of 2007, to acheiving her goal of becoming a Reiki Master and all that entails. Along the way Beth began writing articles for Whispers of Spirit Magazine, and Edge Life Magazine, and now publishes a monthly newsletter The Reiki Artist News.
Since launching ReikiArtist.com Beth's experience with the gentle healing art of Reiki led her to utilize her talents as an artist and designer for the benefit of Reiki Pracitioners everywhere. The Reiki Artist Store was launched in the Summer of 2007 to provide Reiki Masters with Reiki and Holistic inspired clothing, gifts, and greeting cards to support their practice in sharing the blessings of Reiki.
Her experience with Reiki has taught her that it is a tool for living a spiritual life, as well as a loving healing modality that supports mental, emotional, and physical healing. Reiki can be combined with meditation, prayer, and used in group settings and gatherings to create a sacred space. Always mindful of the Japanese origins of Reiki and of the tradition as taught by it's founder, Usui Mikao, the Reiki Precepts are the core of Beth's practice and teaching:
Just for today, do not worry.
Just for today, do not anger.
Honor your parents, teachers and elders.
Earn your living honestly.
Show gratitude to every living thing.
These five spiritual precepts have been handed down from Mikao Usui as a part of the oral tradition of the Usui System.
