Barbara Tierney is an Animal Reiki practitioner, Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher, works with Crystals and Reiki and practices Quantum Touch©. As a young child, Barbara knew that she was a healer... childhood fantasies fade and life goes on. She dabbled with healing with herbs in her 20's and 30's, studied crystals, got off track for a bit and then, like a sudden jolt of lightning, announced that she would be healing horses with her hands. She didn't know how, or what that meant, or anything about energy healing, so there and then the journey began... Things just started to fall into place.

 

Barbara found Laurelle Shanti Gaia and Michael Baird and began her training with them. A year later decided she was ready to become a Master/Teacher and continued her studies with Laurelle and Michael AND William Lee Rand. The 7 day retreat/class has changed her life forever.

 

Animals have always been a treasure to her. Her love for horses orginally brought her to Reiki and it was probably due to the healing she did for her own horses 13 years earlier. So the next part of the journey was to learn how to apply Reiki to healing animals. That was when she found Kathleen Prasad from Animal Reiki Source. ANOTHER blessing!

What some of my clients have said: “I experienced painful numbing in my arms and especially in my hands during my pregnancies. My friend Barbara offered to help me out and we had a few Reiki sessions in the office. Even though I was carrying 40 pounds of baby weight I felt as though I would elevate off of the table -I was so relaxed during our sessions. “My Mom was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2005...Fast forward to today. Treatment is ongoing,  Complications makes it difficult to stay focused on the positive. However, the vomiting is investigated medically twice but never controlled. The annoying act of vomiting has become more than annoying. It has allowed doubt to step in. To enter the mind of a person with the will to fight and win, to feel the mountain to high. What else can be done? Medically there are options but the odds are 50/50 at best. Not something any of us are willing to address. If only the vomiting would stop.
