A journal can be used in many powerful ways. Previously we learned how you can open your soul and record in your journal what lurks beneath the surface there. A journal, of course, can be used to help us analyse what lies even deeper still. It can help us to get way down into our subconscious to find answers to questions and help us to solve our problems.

The best way to do this is to write an in-depth analysis of your dreams. Your dreams communicate with your subconscious mind and assist you in understanding your true desires. Dreams offer us valuable information; writing them down ensures that this information is not lost and you can use it to assist you in the creation of your true purpose.

The messages of our dreams are often hidden behind obscure images and disconnected concepts.Dreams are not insignificant mumbo jumbo though; they are about us and they are always commenting and instructing us about our concerns. Spending the first couple of minutes of the day writing about it will help you to better understand what these bizarre and vivid movies actually mean. The more you continue to analyze your dreams the better you'll get at it.

Here are some tips to help you:

* Each night before you go to bed expect that you'll dream about something important. If there is a big problem weighing on my mind, I often ask that an answer may be shown in my dream to help me solve it. This is a very powerful way to assist you in pushing through obstacles and confusing challenges. But you must follow through the next morning with interpreting the dream.

* When you first wake up, grab your journal which you have left beside your bed and record all you can remember of your dream: the characters, the actions and the symbolism. As you write be open to what may come up and record whatever arises. It is essential that you record how you were feeling in the dream. This is where you will really open up to your subconcious mind and what it is trying to teach you through your dream. As with any journal writing, just allow the words to flow from deep within you. The message will clearly be revealed.

* Give your dream a title.Just go with the first thing that pops into your head and see what it reveals.

* Repeating dreams will usually continue to do so until you get the message. Journaling about your dream will help you to get the message sooner.

*Unless you specifically recognize someone you know in your dream, most of the characters are you!

It can take some practice but as with anything consistency is they key to getting it right. Dream interpretation can be lots of fun. It's such a fascinating look at yourself and your subconscious mind. I feel as if I have a friend in my dreams now; one who is on the lookout for me helping me to make sense of my life.

Once you consistently begin to interpret your dream you will start to see how it can truly assist you in life. Things will become clearer and you'll start to notice little signs that can forewarn or prepare you for things that are coming.

Before you go to bed tonight make sure you lie your journal down beside you and focus on having a clear and vivid dream for you to interpret tomorrow morning. Sweet dreams!
