Achieving Success With The 10 Minute Method

Let's admit, sometimes we tend to overestimate ourselves to achieve success in a shorter period of time than the others who have done it before us. Wanting to write and finish an eBook in such a short period seemed realistic until you realize that you've got a million other projects on the go at the same time! On the flip side, there are also those projects that seem so huge that you just never get started. You keep delaying it for days, weeks and eventually months and end up to never really get it done!

This is where the 10 minute method comes in! If we can allocate at least 10 minutes on each of the projects that we're currently working on, we'll eventually make some progress. :)

This is enough time to be able you to see some progress each day, but not too much to influence your busy schedule. You're probably thinking that the projects will take too long to complete if you only set aside just 10 minutes each but the truth is, they'll take even longer if you never start! The 10 minute method is just another way to motivate yourself, to keep you working consistently, and to help build momentum until you see something through to the end.

Making Sure Those 10 Minutes Are Productive

The best way to get the most done out of it is to first realize what it is that you're trying to accomplish. If you're writing an eBook, make sure to write an outline so that you can dig into any section whenever you have time. If not, slot in a couple more 10 minute chunks in your day to get those extra things done. It may not seem like it, but this really does work and will definitely make things easier, so make sure you don't skip it!

Once you've started doing this more often, it'll start to turn into a routine and you'll notice the abundance amount of 10 minutes for you to delegate on each project. Or, if you're the kind of person who constantly seems to be on the move, keep a smartphone or a notebook on you at all times so that you can work on your project whenever you get the chance to.

It also helps you to keep track of your goals and see how much you have progressed. You'll naturally learn to be more responsible towards your time and learn to allocate them wisely!

Does It Really Work?

We humans are creatures of habit, once we start to adapt to something, we'll keep doing it over and over again, the key word here is to adapt, the first few days might take a while to get used to but once you get it down, you'll start seeing progress like no other! That should be enough for you to stop beating yourself up and to start feeling proud that you're taking action on your goals.
