It’s fair to say that in the last half a century or so, women have captured more masculine associated traits such as powerful external strength along with independence and self-reliance. However men have made less progress in these feminine associated traits such as true compassion for others, deep honesty, affection and trustworthiness. Obviously women play a very key instinctive nurturing role in society, however men must be brave and secure enough in their manhood to dare to learn from the opposite sex. If the goal is successful love relationships and families as well as healthy working environments, then men must should strive to become more understanding and compassionate. After all, the goal is to co-exist as equal human beings on every level possible.
It may be a man’s world per se, but woman gives birth to man and we cannot emphasize that enough. So no matter how tough and strong a man grows up to be, he still came from a woman. Is there anyone on this planet that would argue with the inherent psychological differences. Women as a whole tend to be far more giving, honest and trustworthy. It would seem women are the bearers of giving whilst man represents taking. Nobody is asking men to be Mother Teresa, but don’t underestimate the power of giving. Giving comes from the heart and soul. It will send rich oxygenated blood around your whole body. The spirit of giving will empower you, your brain develops new connections and sends positive vibes throughout your whole body extending into the universe. Giving builds exceptional character and helps to form the backbone of a whole community. Giving symbolizes forward thinking and forward progress in life’s evolution. To give is the opposite of to take, we surely have enough takers in this dog eat dog world. Giving doesn’t always have to be of monetary value, it could simply be giving time through mentorship and volunteerism.
Men should have the courage to think differently, expose their brain to new connections through new ideas, new feelings, new concepts. Virtue serves to build exceptional character, substance and authenticity. It’s all great driving a fancy sports car, but let’s make sure the engine is robust and trustworthy. Real power comes from within. Women should also seek to attract a man for all the right reasons and not for material gain. Seemingly with high divorce rates across the western world, many other factors determine the success or failure of marriage. Many will tell you from experience that man makes the money, but money can’t make the man. Women should encourage their men as much as possible and understand the burden societal pressures put on them. Both sexes should have courage to learn from each other and stop sweating the small stuff. Modern day man and woman should make their Neanderthal ancestors proud by advancing the species together in unity.
