The PayScale for the RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400. This means that you will be having basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- in which you will get an increment of Rs. 1,750/- up till nine years of your service.
The educational qualifications prescribed as per the RBI Grade B eligibility 2021 is pretty tough. Even tougher than UPSC and other major government exams.
CGPA to Percentage Conversion Criteria given by RBI
Some Universities do not provide a percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.) in graduation and post-graduation.
In case the University defines criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into the percentage of marks, the same will be accepted.
RBI Grade B Eligibility 2021 – Age Relaxation
Coming to the age qualification, as per the RBI Grade B eligibility criteria as of 01st January 2021, you can’t give the exam if you are super smart and cleared your college at the age of 18. Yes, you heard it right!!
You can’t even give this exam if you had responsibilities when you were in your 20’s and now want to be a Grade B officer in your 30’s but we have a few exceptions.
You can still give the exam. Here is the age eligibility:
You should be between 21 and 30 years.
The upper age limit is 32 if you have M.Phil. and 34 if you have PhD.
Not only this, but You are also given a relaxation equal to the number of years of experience as an officer in Commercial Bank/ Financial Institution/RBI in the Public Sector.
But don’t just say that you worked for 10 years and now you want 10 years relaxation. Not Going to happen!!
It is a maximum of 3 years
