So…we might be a little early but I thought I’d add some spark before Valentine’s Day. You see, sometimes the best advice for relationships is to just give plain old love quotes or messages to your loved one. These simple gestures are perfect because it requires little effort and gives your partner a whole lot of good feeling.

The following were pulled from a site titled Love Quotes For Him That Are Great

Of course because these quotes are so universal and from famous authors and historical figures you can apply them to either a man or a woman. So next time you’re writing love quotes in a card or email be sure to incorporate some of this because these are classic.

"Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same”.

– Emily Bronte

“I met a boy. And when he smiled, my life began”.

– K. Webster

“If all else perished and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger”.

– Emily Bronte

If I could have just one wish, I would wish to wake up every day to the sound of your breath on my neck, the warmth of your lips on my cheek, the touch of your fingers on my skin, and the feel of your heart beating with mine... Knowing that I could never find that feeling with anyone other than you.

– Courtney Kuchta

“Love is when the other person’s happiness is more important than your own”.

– H. JACKSON BROWN

“Immature love says: ‘I love you because I need you’. Mature love says ‘I need you because I love you’”.

- EHRIC FROMM

“We’re all a little weird, and life’s a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love”.

– DR SEUSS

“Love can change a person the way a parent can change a baby: awkwardly and often with a great deal of mess”.

– Lemony Snicket

This particular quote shows that, while love is a wonderous thing, it is not always easy. It is infuriating and it does not come with a manual. It is difficult, it is not smooth, but when you fight for it that is when you know it is worth it.

“Do you know how you tell real love? It’s when someone else’s interest trumps your own. I like to put it that way: trumps your own. Love of somebody else – of family, of your kids – becomes the most important, most worthwhile thing in your life. It’s what you foster and protect”.

– BRAD PITT

“Love is a game that two can play and both win.”.

– EVA GABOR
