“It is really the individual’s task to differentiate himself from others and stand on his own feet. All collective identities, such as membership in organisations, support of “-isms”, and so on, interfere with the fulfillment of this task… It is wrong to regard this intermediary step as a trap; on the contrary, for a long time to come it will represent the only possible form of existence for the individual, who nowadays seem more than ever threatened by anonymity. Collective organization is still so essential today that many consider it, with some justification, to be the final goal; whereas to call for further steps along the road to autonomy appears like arrogance or hubris, fantasticality, or simple folly. Nevertheless it may be that for sufficient reasons a man feels he must set out on his own feet along the road to wider realms. It may be that in all the garbs, shapes, forms, modes, and manners of life offered to him he does not find what is peculiarly necessary to him. He will go alone and be his own company. He will serve as his own group, consisting of a variety of opinions and tendencies – which need not necessarily be marching in the same direction.” Carl Jung

In the world that we live today, for most of us it seems pretty hard, if not impossible to find our true self, to be who we really are, no censorship, no pretending, no darkness, only truth, and by not doing this, not only do we lie to those around us, what’s worse, we lie to ourselves, consciously or unconsciously. Every time I think about this I am saddened a little, for I know it is a challenge to listen to your heart, to do the things that your heart tells you to. Most of us are guided by our thoughts, thought that are only an illusion of who we really are, thoughts that only keep us even farther away from our true identity, from our true self. When it comes to our heart, we think that it’s quite risky, to listen a voice we don’t recognize, a voice that we don't even know its true identity, a voice that we don't even know if it will take us someplace. And what is this voice anyway? Does anybody listen to it? What if we choose to listen, and what if, we choose to do the things it tell us to, and eventually realize that it took us nowhere? What then?

We can’t rely on something that it's not real to us, we can't just rely on something that we can't sense, feel, see, or taste. This is what most of us think. We are scared, we are afraid of what might happen if we take the road less traveled, we are afraid of the unknown, and we will rather keep it safe. Better safe than sorry… That might be true for a short period of time, but you might discover in time, that short time pain might long term gain, while short term gain, can bring us long term pain.

If we could only detach ourselves from this life, from this body we live in, if we could only become the observer of our life, the observer of everything, life will look a whole lot different for us. The so called problems, will then become nothing more than small stuff. If we could see the world as it really is, no good and no bad, no darkness and no light, no rich and no poor, no beauty and no ugliness, no labels attached to it, then we could really start living. We will then realize that we have nothing to fear, for fears are just illusions, just like many other thing we have created in order to keep the insanity alive. We will then realize that all is perfect just the way it is.

You see, I really believe that everything in this world happens for a reason, and that we all come to this world with our work in our hearts, we know it all, we know what we are supposed to be doing, we know what our gifts and talents are, and we know that, in order for us to really be happy, we have to share our gifts with the world, for what pleasures can you get fro owning something that is not shared with others? “The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The meaning of life is to give your gift away.” David Viscott.

Think about nature for a second, and how it takes its course so beautifully, no effort on its part, no stress, no nothing. Have you notice how beautiful and perfect nature really is? It’s all in divine order, and that’s how it’s suppose to be. Imagine what will happen if an apple tree will start thinking. That will be something right? ”Oh no! I have to make apples again this year. I’m so sick of doing the same thing over and over again. Why me? Why does it have to be like this? Life is not supposed to be like this. I am so unhappy, so predictable. No wonder I feel so alone, so lost and so depressed... ” Yes, I know. That is quite something, isn’t it? That’s exactly how we, humans sound, that's exactly how we are. Our thinking is interfering with who we really. By having all these thoughts, we have chosen to create a new world for ourselves, a world that is nothing more than an illusion, an illusion to keep our insanity alive, a world that we got so attached with, and even though is causing us so much pain, it's hard for us to let it go, for it's what we believe in, it's what we see as being true. This is our reality, the real world, the only world there is.

Now, if nature takes it course and blossoms effortlessly, why wouldn’t this be the same for us humans? We are so scared of being alone with ourselves, so afraid of the unknown, afraid of what we might discover. We like to stay in our comfort zone because it is safe. We need to feel safe and secure, and we dare not to dream, to aspire, to go on a journey of self discovery. I really don’t know how long we will keep on living like this. I really believe that a great deal of people, tired of their own pain and misery, tired of doing the same things over and over again and getting the same old results, have chosen to step out of their mind and live more consciously. I see people who want to make a difference, people who look back in their lives and in the lives of those around them and see how we kept on repeating the same pattern and passing from generation to generation our poor judgments, our poverty thinking and our limiting beliefs.

People are starting to question their beliefs, and are starting to question themselves:” What is my meaning in this world? Why am I here for? How can I make a difference in my life and of those around me? How can I make a difference in the world?" We are beginning to think more about the ways on how we can give, how we can make a difference and less about the ways we can get. It is more about them, about giving, and less about receiving. I think we have came to the realization that the more we give, the more we get, and by giving, we are not only making others happy, but we are also contributing to our own well being, our own peace of mind, our own happiness. "Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished." Michael Strassfeld

We are all connected with each other and in order to maintain the balance, we have to become aware of this fact and treat everybody with love, respect and compassion, we need to treat everybody the way we would like to be treated. The moment one finds its purpose, the moment it feels he's on the right track, doing the things he's supposed to be doing, he will be filled with love, and will only attract more love in his life. The more suffering in a person's heart, the stronger the need to hurt and humiliate others, the stronger the need to judge and criticize, to blame and complain about everything and everyone. So you see, it is better for everyone to live a life on purpose, for you, and for those around you. The happier you will make others through your work, the happier you will be. Fall in love with what you do, find your passion, work with it, and then sell that love, there is so little competition.
