It’s true that carrots are high in vitamin A, such as carrots, can help prevent dry eye syndrome, cataracts and age-related vision loss among other ailments. Sneak in some vitamin A by eating carrots, whole milk, pumpkins, cantaloupes and sweet potatoes.
Eat More Tofu: Zinc
As zinc is said to help prevent and delay age-related macular degeneration from developing, it’s worth it to ensure that you are getting enough zinc in your diet every day. If you’re deficient in zinc, you may even suffer from vision problems due to this. To get more zinc in your daily diet, look to eggs, tofu, lobster, beef and yogurt.
