In Gary Macy’s book, The Hidden History of Women’s Ordination, he has a chapter entitled, “Defining Women Out of Ordination.” Basically Canon Lawyers felt that women weren’t actually ordained.

Their blind eyes, completely ignored otherwise evidence in a book, containing a collection of Laws, mentioning both Women Deacons, and Women Presbyterae, (Priest).

Seeing the Truth Yet Completely Ignoring It.
Here we have, canyon lawyers, completely ignoring the actual proof of women deacons and priests so mentioned in the above collection. No different really from the actions of the hierarchy of our Church today.

When will this mentality of lies, deception, and scandal ever come to an end? Doesn’t any Catholic deserve better from their Church Father’s? We know we do, but we also know of no current intention of changing anything. They have a very unique way of spinning words to dismiss the actual cause behind them. Point-in-fact, from the article, In His Thoughts and Words: Francis On Women, by Miriam Duignan, states: …”Pope Francis tries to dismiss women’s ordination as a modern feminist attempt to assume male roles, rather than a restoration of the full participation that existed in the original church.”

Spin Cycle

Who knew, our own hierarchy where the centuries-old originators of the spin cycle on issues? Funny? Hardly, not when you realize their omission of acknowledgment of the real truth behind the claims of Women Priests in our past Church remains the status quo even today.

Faith’s Inextricable Connection.

Our faith is inextricably connected to our past Church history where we learned about the person of Jesus Christ, His ministry and very character. This has brought into our lives, a sense of real connection and meaningful presence to our very worship. Out of that same history resides the early roots of our present-day Eucharistic Sacrament.

Coming forward to receive Communion, we are personally connected and actively engaged with the person of Jesus Christ. That inner connection to Jesus goes even further when any Catholic, male or female has a personal call to the Priesthood. On the flip side for any women regarding their own call to the Priesthood, what is there for them to emulate, to engage in when that particular history is not present to you?

This is why it is so disingenuous of the hierarchy to block the actual past tradition of women priests in our Church today. Pope Francis, recently has mentioned the need for a New Theology of Women in our Church today. Again a play on words, this new theology, something new needed to justify women taking on a completely new role in our Church. What happened to the actual truth of the matter, the actual existence of women’s previous priestly roles in our past Church’s history?
