Has America declared War on Assange and WikiLeaks?
The disclosures by Australian journalist Julian Assange and WikiLeaks have clearly upset America. Yet the right to expose shameful US government secrets is protected by the First Amendment's rights to free speech and press freedom.
As Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black ruled in the 1971 Pentagon Papers Daniel Ellsberg whistle-blower trial:
"The word 'security' is a broad, vague generality whose contours should not be invoked to abrogate the fundamental law embodied in the First Amendment. The guarding of military and diplomatic secrets at the expense of informed representative government provides no real security for our Republic."
Is Julian Assange being hunted by America in a witch-hunt, as he maintains? Are compliant British and Swedish authorities cooperating with America? Or is he simply wanted for questioning in Sweden because he's actually guilty of rape? You want to know the truth for yourself, but how do you find the truth?
Is Assange Guilty although Not Yet Charged?
You'll only know the truth once you've examined the evidence and come to your own conclusions. So don't be gullible and believe anyone unquestioningly, especially politicians and government spokesmen. Belief by itself can never give you the truth, since genuine knowing needs your own time and energy.
The first step is to examine the evidence and then you make up your mind. What are the real facts concerning Julian Assange's sexual liaisons with Anna Ardin and Sophia Wilen?
All the articles about this matter name Julian Assange, yet some do not name his two accusers, Anna Ardin and Sofia Wilen. But Assange is also innocent until proven guilty. Equality demands that either all names or no names be mentioned.
Do Rape Victims Suppress the Evidence?
5. The day after Assange slept with Anna Ardin in August 2010, she tweeted her friends "Sitting outdoors at 02:00 and hardly freezing with the world's coolest smartest people, it's amazing."
6. That same day Ardin tried to arrange a special Swedish dinner for Assange at a restaurant. Is it credible that Ardin would invite him to dinner if he had raped her the previous night?
7. Both complainants Anna Ardin and Sophia Wilen have told the police that there was no fear or violence in their sexual activity with Assange, which itself alone ought to eliminate any charge of rape.
8. When Ardin later files her police complaint of rape against Julian Assange, she attempts to delete her tweets. But what do all the tweets - and her attempts to delete them - say about her allegations? Why would a crime victim clean up their cellphones tweets, delete blogs, and try to persuade witnesses to attest to things that aren't true?
We have to "Figure out a Good Plan of Revenge"
9. The consent of both women to sex with Assange, along with their bragging and generally positive content about him has been confirmed by Swedish prosecutors.
10. Ardin, who describes herself as a lesbian on her private webpage, had published on the internet a vindictive guide on how to get revenge on cheating boyfriends. The two women actions seem to be based directly on Ardin's notorious 'seven step plan for revenge.'
11. The evidence time-line shows the two women turned up together at a police station and a warrant was issued for "double rape" BEFORE either had sat down to give an "official" statement! Yet, elsewhere, Ardin and Wilen state they only went to the police to ask for advice about HIV testing.
12. According to Claes Borgstrom, their politician lawyer, the other complainant alleging rape by Assange, Sofia Wilen, was re-interviewed by police seven times after her initial statement. They apparently needed to talk about the various SMS texts and phone calls between Wilen and her friends where matters pertaining to Wilen's motives were "jokingly" discussed: going to the newspapers, being contacted by a US newspaper, and making lots of money. One text stands out from the findings of the forensics report: "The chief interrogator asked about the SMS message where [Wilen's friend Marie Thorn] wrote that they have to figure out a good plan of revenge."
13. The history of Ardin and Wilen's SMS texts to each other show they contacted the notorious Swedish tabloid Expressen, in order to maximize the damage to Assange. Did they make the whole thing up? Is he being harassed for slighting the feelings of two groupies who worshipped him before as well as after their sexual encounters.
14. Many women throughout the world are wondering at the unusual zeal with which Assange is being pursued. Although Sweden has Europe's highest number of reported rapes per capita, conviction rates are negligible. In 2006, just six people were convicted of rape among the 4,000 people reported, and up to 90% of all reported rapes never get to court.

Food for Thought
“Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.”
- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930), Scottish physician, prolific crime fiction writer
Cris Baker has much practice in overcoming adversity, he's been screwing things up for years! Why suffer the consequences of your own mistakes? Now you can benefit from real knowledge, crucial know-how gained from extensive painful experience.
Clarity about the truth is essential. Is Assange a sexual predator, or are two upset groupies taking revenge? Are Britain and Sweden conspiring to extradite Assange to America since WikiLeaks published confidential US Government emails. Assange is also a journalist, and such embarrassing publishing is protected by the First Amendment.
