Today i will be able to share with you my personal top 3 favorite best minecraft texture packs. I've only tested the 64x64 up to 128x128 versions of those resolution packs since any pack higher in resolution lags my computer.
What are texture packs?
Essentially they're downloadable graphic tools utilized in minecraft account generator to reinforce the textures used ingame. There are tons of texture packs available and are usually in.zip format. They also come in different resolutions from 16x16 to 512x512. The higher the resolution is that the better visually but also note that higher resolutions demand more from your computer.
Now onto my list:
1) Soartex Fanver
I completely fell in love with this texture pack when I first tried it. Everything looks simple yet so elegant. The textures are all smooth and are pleasing to the eyes. Definitely a must try
2) LB Photo Realism
For me this is often visually the simplest among those Minecraft realistic texture themed I've tried. Graphically speaking this elevates Minecraft to a whole new level. For me this makes a 50 megabyte game looks on par to some retail games that are coming out today that is 3 gigabyte in size or more.
There's also a 512x512 resolution to try if you have a decent computer to run it
The only thing that's keeping this from being my top favorite is that this is power hungry and demands a lot from your computer. Other than that it's still an awesome pack to try.
3) Sphax Purebdcraft
What I like about this theme is it gives Minecraft a more cartoony approach. A lot of packs out there seem to go for the realistic or the futuristic look so this one gives Minecraft this unique look that no other pack has to offer. The texture of minecraft mobs is also cool and actually looks like your typical villains in video games.
How to install minecraft texture packs
Step 1: Go to your minecraft folder installation and locate the texturepack folder.
Step 2: Copy paste the zip file to the texturepack folder.
Step 3: In the main menu of the game select Texture Packs and from there select the texture pack of your choice.
If for some reason the textures doesn't seem right to you or you're getting textures with fire symbols in them then you must've downloaded a high resolution texture pack. You will probably need to patch your minecraft game. A tool called mcpatcher must be used in order to properly display the missing/corrupted textures.
