All You Need is Love...!
Love is a simple four-letter word used to describe a range of hundreds of emotions. Instead of having hundreds of words to describe hundreds of emotions, the English language tries to capture these feelings in one word. No wonder it is so confusing.
The greatest tool that we can use in healing is love. Love is opening the heart. It's the ability to see only the divine, to have a limitless perspective, and to have knowingness so vast that it reaches far beyond the limitations of rational or logical thought. That is powerful love. I believe that this is the way that the spirits love us. I also believe that this is what people are searching for in their lives?
On the flip side, every emotional wound that exists stems from lack of love: not feeling loved, not feeling lovable, not feeling included or not feeling enough (lack of love), love with conditions, love that is taken away, or love lost.
It is the one emotion that can cause both pain and healing. Love is a powerful vibration. So how do you vibrate with love?
The spirits said to a client in a shamanic healing session, "As you look out into the night sky there is an awakening that you feel that no other vista can offer. The sky is lit with starlight. The vastness is unimaginable. You give over to the profound awareness that you exist in a universe that is filled with mystery, awe, and potential. You marvel at the magnificence of it all. The moment feels perfect. Know that as you feel these feelings and you expand wonderment and respect out from your heart, this is how we (the spirits) feel when we look at you: loving you so much that it is unimaginable for you to grasp."
This type of love is unconditional, allowing, and forever and lasts to all of eternity. It won't scold you, judge you, betray you, or abandon you. This is why it is so hard to grasp. It allows. There are no conditions of behavior.
We have no role models on earth that we can tap into at this level of love. We are left with our own distorted, fragmented, wounded versions of what this means, so we disconnect from it.
But when we choose to reconnect back in, it is available, constant, and allowing.
Many years ago on a beautiful early spring morning, I ran my regular route on the Spring Water Trail feeling a tremendous joy and love of nature. As the sun started to rise, I said, "I love you" to everything; the grass, the trees, the clouds, the sky, the asphalt, the slugs. Everything was in my extended range of love and appreciation. My heart was singing and my joy level was infectious. I turned my head and looked to my right, and there in the sky was a huge, pinkish-red, cookie-cutter-perfect heart. I stopped in my tracks, with my mouth open in awe. I looked around to see if I could find anybody to witness this magical moment with me and to confirm that what I saw was true. No one was there. I stood there for about five 5 minutes as the heart moved from my right across the sky to the East in front of me. It then disappeared in the glow of the sun's rays as they broke above the horizon. I was mesmerized.
A hawk cried and broke my trance. My mind immediately asked, What does this omen mean?"Ah, Hawk, the messenger. What message do you bring to me Hawk?"
Immediately, I was filled with a voice that resounded around me. It said, "We love you, too."
Tears rolled down my face as the feelings of love penetrated my body. It was a magical moment that imbedded into my cells the true feeling of unconditional love and has lived with me since.
And so, I end with these thoughts...
Love heals.
Be the one that someone would want to love.
Love someone the way you would want to be loved.
Love yourself - love others.
Allow.
Be open to the love that surrounds you.
Be a vibrational match for the love you desire. You will surely manifest it.
Open and love life. It will love you back.
Celebrate LOVE.
Love is all you need
