‘Contrary to the popular myth - what you don’t know may prove to be very harmful to your well-being.’

NEWS FLASH!
Understanding what you are not good at, is just as important as recognizing what you are best at. For example, you may be a very naturally creative person, but if your organizational skills are terrible, or you lack the discipline to see through your last ‘big idea’ before acting on your next one, you have a lifetime of regrets to look forward to.

Any day not spent growing is a day wasted. The daily hustle and bustle of life often results in learning being placed below survival on our to-do list, but making time to properly evaluate their knowledge base is more important than many people realize.

Think About It!
There are words that we use everyday during the course of our personal and professional lives, but do we fully understand what they mean? If you do not know what something means you can’t really understand what it does. In those instances you do not really know what you are saying, nor can you properly comprehend what is being said to you - that can’t be good!

Language is the window through which other people examine the contents of your mind. What do they see whilst you are speaking?

‘I know what I said, but that is not what I meant!’ Are people who say that very dishonest or very stupid? Who can tell the difference? ‘I was a bit confused’ (I merged truth, falsehood and presumption!) ‘I just panicked’ (I was temporarily insane!) Who really wants ownership of that mentality? People use those phrases everyday without ever considering the implications.

CONSIDER THIS: ‘The volume of data that you acquire during your life will not help you much - the degree to which you understand it most certainly will.’

Do You Have A Strategic Plan For Your Life?
Would you go to an airport and wait in the departure lounge without knowing your destination, or what you intended to do once you had got there? - Of course not! Are you clear about your life destination and what you plan to do once you get there? What is the purpose of your journey? Who devised your travel plans, and what will be your ‘reward’ once you arrive?

Ignorance is bliss! - To an idiot perhaps, but it is pretty deadly to anybody who wants to reach their full potential. Some call it Life Coaching. Others call it Life Enhancement or Mind Management - we call it common sense. ‘What you don’t know can’t hurt you’ is the mantra of the deeply foolish.

Get Understanding!
Let today witness the dawn of a new attitude. Comprehensive insight (knowledge) is not merely information - it is revelation. Revelation means; to uncover that which was previously hidden. How can NOT having revelation possibly be good for you?

On your best day you are the most influential person in your world. How often do you have your best day? What level of influence do you exert when you are functioning below your very best? Why don’t you bring your ‘A game’ every single day? Revelation knowledge would answer those questions with authority.

* Did you know that questions are the gateway to the release of knowledge?

Knowledge being released prior to a question being asked is a pointless exercise. Solutions make the most sense when the problems that they were created to negate become apparent. An ignorant person is not someone who does not know very much - an ignorant person is someone who has no desire to learn more.

You can have a degree in nuclear physics yet be deemed ignorant in other regards. What is there about you that remains unknown to you? ‘People who fail to ask questions - fail to get answers. People without answers have insufficient knowledge to accomplish anything - except failure.’ - Errol Michael Henry ©2007 Matters 4 Life Limited, All rights reserved.
