How To Do WoW Gold Farming By Mining Thorium

On most servers Thorium is nearly as profitable as adamantite. But much less mined!

As always I recommend Using Gatherer to save all the node locations for you so you can plan faster routes.

Winterspring:

Start at Everlook. Head East to the Timbermaw camp. There is usually a rich thorium vein. Head south over the hill and drop down into the yeti cave entrance. There is usually one small thorium vein and one rich one in the cave. Head south to the owl beast caves. One of these caves also has a thorium node. Head further south to Frostwhisper Gorge. Usually between the entrance and the cave there is a rich thorium vein.

A little bit farther south almost every one of the demon caves has a rich thorium vein. Head back North. Go down into the frost giant area. There is a rich thorium vein down there. Head north to the dragon kin cave. Usually there is 2 veins here. Sometimes both are rich, sometimes 1 will be small.

When you get to the end cave with the two named dragons (usually one rich vein is in there). There should be a blue symbol on the ground. Step on it and it will teleport you outside to the top of the mountain with a quest NPC. You can then ride down or float down. Head North to the Lake. There is another rich thorium vein here.

Head west to the road and sometimes there is a rich vein there. Once you have made it all the way around, everything should have re spawned, rinse and repeat!
