HE’S PREPARING ME: FOR THE ‘MASTER’S USE
By Lorene Hall

PREPARING: To Make Ready For Use; To Arrange; To Position REFINING: Taking Away the Impurities; Transformation

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained (or prepared) that we should walk or live in them (Ephesians 2:10). We are God’s work of art, masterpiece.

He’s preparing me, just because He loves me. “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (St. John 3:16). God is indubitably concerned about our struggles and difficulties of life. Nevertheless, God is preparing me for everything that comes in my life. He is the God of grace and mercy. He will never leave us nor forsake us. God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19)
He’s preparing me, just because He cares. God is the creator of mankind and sent His Son to redeem mankind. Jesus came to save the lost. And as many as received him, to them he gave power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. We are saved by grace through faith, and not of ourselves: It is the gift of God. He is preparing me, for eternal life. In the process of preparing me, there were matters in my life that I could not handle. So He’s providing me with what I’ll need to carry out the next quandary in my life. The Lord is arranging me, or carefully placing me in a different category. Also, I want you to know that the Lord is training and teaching me how to hear his voice. And to obey his will. He loves me! Therefore He has to take away all impurities. The scripture clearly declares that, “I Beseech you therefore, by the mercies of god, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto god, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1). Everything that is not like Him must be cleansed from our vessel. The word of God declares because it is written “Be Ye Holy. For I Am Holy” (1 Peter 1:16). He’s Preparing Me for the Master’s Use.

Salvation: God’s Deliverance
Jesus was born of a virgin and conceived by the Holy Ghost and He paid the penalty for our sins, and redeemed us through His blood. He was crucified on the cross at Calvary. He was resurrected from the dead. Christ is risen!

God loves us. He sent His son Jesus into the world to set at liberty those that are lost and without hope.” For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”. (Romans 3:23)
We are justified freely or without any cost by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation. We must be born again!
We must have a personal encounter with Christ, surrendering our lives to the Lord. At this point salvation or deliverance occurs. (Romans 10:9, 10) says, “That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”.

While there is no action or work we can do that can help us obtain Salvation, our Salvation is something only God can do. It is His powerful, creative work in us. We become Christians through God’s unmerited grace, not as the result of any effort, ability, intelligent choice, or act of service on our part. We are not saved merely for our own benefit but to serve Christ and build up the Church. “He gave some, apostle; and some, prophets; and some, pastors and teachers. For the perfecting of the Saints, for the works of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

He’s preparing his people to do his perfect will, just because He cares. He’s making me ready for the Master’s use. He’s providing or making available to us, what we will need to carry out the next matter in our life. Such as confidence in yourself and courage to pursue the works ordered by the ‘Master’. God is preparing his people, just because he is concerned about everything that comes in their lives. He promised never to leave us nor forsake us. “For the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the Air and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1Thess. 4:16, 17).
